THE 40 YEAR SCRATCH
Edward Ka-Spel & The Silverman

Has it really been four decades of The Legendary Pink Dots? In reality, these anniversaries tend to pop up as surprise realisations rather than the landmark occasions many would deem them to be.
Even so, we need no excuse to be excessive, so this “40 Year Scratch” was somehow inevitable.
A studio version of “Katrina” was a work in the pipeline for quite some time, while the rest of the material is from sessions on the beautiful island of Hydra, where the taxi is a donkey and the monastery is a mile high. No airport, no cars, an occasional ferry, and two Pink Dots attempting to provide a soundtrack for all that beauty.

1. KATRINA (2019)
2. THE HYDRA SESSIONS 1- 3

The two tracks are mixed into one long track (36:14) on the CDr.

This release is limited to 99 with 50 different handmade covers (created by Edward Ka-Spel), half of the release was to be sold on the European leg of the 40th Anniversary tour of the Legendary Pink Dots, the other half was offered via Bandcamp
