Defrag (formerly Defragmentation) is an electronic project from New York, USA.

Originally formed in 2000 as a duo of Jeff Dodson (bass, programming) and Matt Paper Flego (guitar, programming, live breaks) - under name Bitstorm.
In 2001 changed name to Defragmentation.

Matt Paper Flego left in 2004 and since that time Defragmentation/Defrag became a solo project of Jeff Dodson.

In 2009 the project officially shortened its name to just Defrag.
