A founding member of the Chicago radio mixshow team on 102.7 WBMX, collectively known as the Hot Mix 5, and the resulting record label Hot Mix 5 Records. Went on to start his own record label in 1988, M Records. Much of Mickey's music after 1987 was published by his own Mixin Music publishing company.
