Signalstoerung is known as founding member of the artist collectives Global Noise Movement and Adventurous Music. Since the mid 1990s he creates audiovisual events, DJ-sets, podcasts and his own music. He is also known as Heptagon, Hendekagon, H7, halo7 and is somehow connected to Boiled Rice & Mobbing Christel.
