Born in Madrid, 1958. Javier Bergia studied in various different fields (guitar, percussion, singing, poetry, song-writing...). At the end of the 1970’s he studied with Gregorio Paniagua.

In 1980 he joined antique music band Atrium Musicae, as multi-intrumentalist for their recordings and live shows. In 1984 he played with Finis Africae.

In 1985 he began a solo career.
