John Hunt



American bassist, born July 7th, 1947 and died January 7th, 2021. Hunt was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Marino before moving to Malibu. He worked as a roadie for artists including Spirit and Albert Hammond. He then joined the rock band Surf Punks as a bassist. Hunt eventually moved to Hawaii, where he played with bands including The Blonde Boys, The Shakers and The Take Offs and began a career as a sound engineer. He worked live events with his company Shoreline Sound.
