Manfred Mann ’06 is an alias for the well known keyboardist and songwriter Manfred Mann (Manfred Mann, Manfred Mann’s Chapter Three, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, Manfred Mann’s Plain Music). He used this alias first for his 2004 release with the title ’2006’ (no typo!) because he felt that this release would ’not necessarily sit comfortably in an Earth Band context’.
