ExKurs is a German band that produces music since 1979 until today: electronic music (EDM), sometimes funky, sometimes painful, but always digressing - difficult to classify or categorize. A brief history:
1979: founding of the band, evolving from Modern Entertainment
1981: winner of the Senate Rock Competition (but immediately returned the prize)
1981: Fakten Sind Terror LP on Konkurrenz (Phonogram Hamburg)
1984: break
2003/2004: the [l5241] Gang DJ crew releases pieces of the band on the [l2143873] compilations (Exkurs goes Paris, Milano, Geneva, Munich, Zurich ..).
2004: re-release of the Fakten Sind Terror album on CD with some contemporary bonus pieces as DVD at the NLW label (Hamburg)
2018: Fakten Sind Terror appears as a track on [m1451199]
