Retroflex is made up of two of Chicago's finest producers: Nick Calingaert and Chris Nazuka. This is the first time that they have collaborated on a project together.

For their Soma releases the duo have produced two twelves (Soma 75 & 79) entitled Variations in Consciousness Part 1 & 2. Here intricate drum programming and disco samples have been fused in a unique way to create two twelves for the mind and techno soul.
