Swedish rock band that began as a side project of Dennis Lyxzén. The Lost Patrol later grew into The Lost Patrol Band.
As a side project of The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Dennis Lyxzén released the solo album Songs in the Key of Resistance in 1999 under the pseudonym The Lost Patrol. The album is characterized by political messages and a singer/songwriter sound. The follow-up, Songs About Running Away, which came out in 2003, has the same sound but instead of politics, the lyrics are about unrequited love. This is because Lyxzén suffered from relationship problems during the period. Before the third self-titled album release, the solo project had grown into a fully-staffed band. To mark this, the band was named The Lost Patrol Band. In 2006, they released their fourth album Automatic.
In 2008, the band changed their name to
Invasionen, this time due to threats of lawsuits from the American band with the same name as the previous one.
