Having published works in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and France, Lai was invited twice to show his works at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in France.
In 2018, Lai’s The Pork Chops Inferno was awarded “The 12th International MANGA Award Sliver Award”.
