Electronic DJ, born 1970, Saint Petersburg, Russia. A pioneer, a legend of Russian techno scene. A resident of the cult St. Petersburg club of the 90s [l59734]. One of the first to introduce Russia to acid, hard techno and trance. In 1994, he founded [l582656], and in 1998, together with [l97850] label, he released the first Russian techno vinyl on a Russian label. Before that Russian techno artists were released only on foreign labels.
As a producer, he worked under the name DJ SLON and in the
Жуткий Лазер project, creating experimental electronics. In 2022, he released Album # 1 on the GOST ZVUK label.
Performed at Love Parade, Finnish Club Lux, Vienna Flex, Munich Ultraschall, Scandinavian Koneisto and in the cult Tresor in Berlin. Since 1995, he has hosted programs about electronic music on leading Russian radio stations. In 2007, he published the book Рейволюция: как это было на самом деле (Revolution: How It Really Was) about the birth of rave culture in Russia.
In 2024, he wrote music for the play Egyptian Nights (A.S. Pushkin), staged on the new stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater.
That same year, together with his colleagues, he re-launched vinyl releases on [l582656]; at the moment two vinyl collections, dedicated to the label's thirtieth anniversary, have been released.
