British vocalist Steve Allen is mostly associated with two different bands, Deaf School (late 1970s) and Original Mirrors (1980-1981). He also performed on recordings with Clive Langer & The Boxes. For a few years, Allen continued as a solo, backed by The Boxes. Allen sang in a short lived group called Samurai that included Pete Farndon and Topper Headon.
During 1984-1989 he released a number of singles, often recorded in collaboration with Italian producers.
He then turned to management with Espiritu which was signed to Heavenly in the UK before taking up an A&R post at Warner UK (WEA at the time) in the mid 90’s running the very successful Eternal label.
