Solomon moved to Nashville and began playing guitar with The Jones Boys with George Jones, and later on session recordings with Jones, Dolly Parton, Marty Robbins, Alabama, Pete Drake, Bobby Bare, Ernest Tubb, Mel Tillis, Webb Pierce, The Oak Ridge Boys, Leon Russell, Andy Williams, B. J. Thomas, David Allan Coe, Slim Whitman, Jim Lauderdale, and his wife, Melba Montgomery, among others.
