Swedish bassist, born 1 May 1939 in Brännkyrka, Stockholm, died 28 January 2011 in Gävle.
He participated in several bands and orchestras during the 1950s to 1980s.
His musical career began in the 1950s when he played bass guitar in Little Gerhard's Rocking G-Men. With them he recorded, among others, Buona Sera, Den siste Mohikanen, Wake up little Susie and others. They toured extensively throughout Sweden and also in Germany and Poland. Little Gerhard and his Rocking G-Men also appeared in two Åsa-Nisse films.
From the 1950s until the beginning of the 1980s, he was engaged by various conductors, including Lars Samuelson, Kjell Öhman, Marcus Österdahl, Mats Olsson and Sven-Olof Walldoff, to participate in several hundred gramophone recordings.
