Danish jazz bassist and band leader, b March 26, 1945 in Lindholm, DK. Often credited with his nickname Basse. He began his career playing jazz in Erik Skjold's Dixiland Band in 1953. From 1956 to 1965 he played in Papa Bue's Viking Jazz Band. From 1966 he played with the Copenhagen Footers 1967/68 he led his own orchestra
