American punk rock musician, songwriter, vocalist, and artist from Peoria, Illinois, who has had a prolific career in the underground scene spanning over 30 years.
Bloody F. Mess has worked with a wide range of artists. He was with
GG Allin when he bought the ExLax (a brand of laxatives) in preparation for Allin’s first defecation on stage in 1985, during the Hated In The Nation Tour. He accompanied Allin on this tour as the opening act, reading spoken word poems and writings, and also accompanied Allin’s second US tour in 1986, this time with his band HATE.
He contributed to deathgrind band
Impetigo’s album [m=107986] (1990), in which he wrote and recited a spoken word piece on “Unadulterated Brutality” and did back-up vocals on “Bloody Pit Of Horror”.
Stevo Dobbins of Impetigo returned the favor by providing guest vocals on three songs from Bloody’s album with The Skabs, [m=1699041] (1990).
Mess is known for befriending criminals such as
John Wayne Gacy,
Kenneth Bianchi,
Charles Manson,
David Berkowitz, and
Ottis Toole. Some of these people contributed artwork for his releases.
