Spanish cello player.

Born in Oviedo in 1964, he is titled superior in violoncello. During his career he has studied in Madrid, Barcelona, Freiburg (Germany) and London. He has been awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Culture of the Principality of Asturias, the Young National Orchestra of Spain and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation of Bonn. His brilliant career has led him to become a member and the first cello of several renowned orchestras, such as the Young National Orchestra of Spain, the Orchestra of the Musikhochschule Opera of Freiburg (Germany), the Asturias Symphony Orchestra and the Orquestra del Gran Teatre del Liceu, and has collaborated with the Orquestra de Cambra de Cadaqués. Since 1990, he regularly collaborates with the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona and Nacional de Catalunya. He has been a producer of several films. Currently, he is part of the jazz-fusion group KitflusKuartet, along with Kitflus, Rafael Escoté and Roger Blavia.
