Dem 2 were pioneering UK Garage duo Spencer Edwards and Dean Boylan from Canvey Island. The pair released a number of popular and influential two-step tracks in the mid-to-late 90s, including Destiny (Sleepless) and Baby (You're So Sexy), as well as many high-profile remixes. Edwards and Boylan also founded the label New York Soundclash Records as the primary outlet for their own material.

As of 2011, Dem 2 is Dean Boylan releasing material as a solo artist.
