Classical cellist born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Started working in Malmö Symphony Orchestra in 1985.

Started playing the cello in 1969, when he was 13 years old, he heard the sound of a cello for the first time and immediately fell in love with the sound.

Private education with the cellists, Asger Lund Christiansen (Copenhagen), Pierre Fournier (Geneva), William Pleeth (London), Masterclasses, among others. Mstislav Rostropovich.

He has played in the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra 1977-1985, The Danish Quartet 1979-83.
Cell teacher v. Syddansk Musikkonservatorium (Odense) since 1988 with various positions: hourly employee, associate professor, senior lecturer, professor. Also cello teacher at Sundsgården (Helsingborg) since 2000.
