Alexey Kropotov - Russian cellist, was born in Kirov. In 1998, he graduated from the Russian Academy of Music named after M. Gorky. In 1998 he graduated from the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, class of E. Zhuleva (cello), Professor
Valentin Berlinsky (quartet) and Professor O. Kondratieva (chamber ensemble).
After graduating from the Academy in 1999, he began his active concert activity as a member of the piano quartet, having played more than 120 concerts in various cities of Russia, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok during the year. Since 2000, he has participated in concerts and music festivals in Russia and abroad (in Austria, Belgium, France and Spain).
In 2006 he completed his postgraduate studies at the [l285011] in the chamber ensemble class of Professor
Vladimir Skanavi.
From 2004 to 2015, he worked with the
Musica Viva Chamber Orchestra.
Since 2015 he has been working with the State Chamber Orchestra «
Moscow Virtuosi».
