He was born in Texas but started his rap career in the bay-area and was recognized by Too Short.
Spice 1 released several successful album on Jive records in the 90's and nowadays continues independently. During his career he has worked with a big number of distinguished artists such as MC Eiht, Too Short, Method Man, Paris and E-40 to mention some.
