Jazz tenor/alto saxophonist and clarinetist, born October 6, 1902 in Chicago, Illinois.
Washington played with Al Wynn 1925-1926, Louis Armstrong 1927 and 1931-1932, Erskine Tate and Boyd Atkins 1929-1930. In New York working with Fletcher Henderson and Fats Waller (1935-1936). Moved back to Chicago, from 1955 music teacher in public schools, with occasional appearances.
