American Rhythm & Blues and Jump blues singer.
Born July 14, 1919 in Mobile, Alabama.
Died March 2, 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Brother of Claude Trenier, Milt Trenier and Buddy Trenier, and uncle of Skip Trenier.

Cliff and his twin brother, Claude, formed the Alabama State Collegians in the late 1930s. Claude and Cliff joined the Jimmie Lunceford Orchestra in the 1940s. In 1947 they formed their own band, The Treniers, a jump blues group.
