Australian vocalist (b. Sydney 17 Feb., 1925 - d. New York 24 June 1992)

On many A.B.C. radio children's session broadcasts aged 7-15, then on The Youth Show for three years (c.1942). In The Australian film Smithy (1946). Later in 1946 went to UK and toured provincial halls with her brother, George Scotty Nichols for 3 months. Featured in the radio series Take It From Here (also the stage version in 1950). Numerous stage & radio appearances in early 1950s, and turned down lead in South Pacific to return to Australia in 1953. Later returned to UK 1955-1956.
