Václav Neckář on stage and in studio. Founded in September 1968 by bass guitarist
Zdeněk Rytíř, initially as the new backing band of Divadlo Rokoko (Rokoko Theatre). Subsequently renamed to Orchestr Golden Kids in November 1968. Led and conducted alternatively by
Josef Vobruba and
Bohuslav Ondráček. Disbanded in 1970 after Marta Kubišová’s ban. Some subsequently released recordings still actually performed by the nucleus of the original Golding Kids Orchestra were credited to
Czechoslovak Radio Dance Orchestra (TOČR) instead. Eventually transformed into
Orchestr Bohuslava Ondráčka.
