He produced records, the most notable being the very successful comedy albums for Jerry Clower.
Worked in various capacities behind-the-scenes for Conway Twitty, but eventually gave up on the music business altogether and became a bus driver for the Nashville Sounds minor league baseball team. He also drove for some of the athletic teams at Vanderbilt University.
