Swedish musician, composer, author and film director, born on October 6, 1936 in Luleå domkyrkoförsamling, Luleå, Norrbotten, but he grew up in Ersnäs. He died on July 5, 2023 in Boo, Nacka, Uppland.

Lundsten was one of Sweden’s most famous synthesizer players and composers of electronic music, often in his own studio [l721154]. Early on, he became a pioneer on the electronic experimental front and was one of the first to work in [l271283] in Stockholm.

One of the most played works by Ralph Lundsten is [l413873]’s (earlier Sveriges Radio International) theme song Ut i vida världen, appearing as track 5 on Ut I Vida Världen - Out In The Wide World.

Apart from music, Lundsten also worked as a visual artist, filmmaker and author.
