Byron Werner is half of the electronic duo, Rural War Room, in which he plays turntables, samplers and home made instruments. Werner is retired from 28 years in Hollywood special effects - ink & paint, rotoscope artist, lip sync animator, digital roto, and other. In the 1980s/90s, Werner is known for reviving the lounge music movement; coining the phrase Space Age Bachelor Pad Music He was on the Death Star Night Crew of the first Star Wars film in 1977; and originals Poltergeist, Tron, Willow, Superman IV, Star Trek Nemesis, Stormrider, Titanic, I Robot, and others. Byron Werner now lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, spinning a weekly radio show with Donavan Suitt. Werner makes folk art from hole-punched gift-wrapping paper. He also makes & plays home made instruments, and does turntable experiments/samples in the duo & cyberband Rural War Room, which he co-founded with Suitt in 2005.
