Australian musician, primarily a guitarist and bassist. In the early 1970's Ron was in The Carsons, a duo with his wife Carol Philpott. They played for soldiers in South Vietnam in 1971 and wrote songs for The Daly-Wilson Big Band. Ron went on to play bass with New Zealand jazz pianist Judy Bailey in the mid 70's.
