Italian jazz group of traditional style.
Born in September 1950 from the meeting of the pianist Fabio Mataloni with trumpeter Swiss Herman Mayer.
In 1953, after realizing some remarkable recordings especially for the rigid approach with to the real New Orleans music,
they inaugurated the first local jazz of Milan: the Santa Tecla Honky Tonk.
They have taken part in many concerts abroad and the Velodrome d'Hiver in Paris the public decreed them a triumph.
At the II° National Jazz Festival held in Rome in 1958, the orchestra won a trophy for best Traditional style group
