Jim Cole began practicing harmonic singing in 1991. He later founded the group Spectral Voices, which used as its performance space an empty Connecticut water tower. The group released it's eponymous debut recording in 1996, and this has been followed by a number of follow-ups and collaborative projects. Jim's work has been described as mystical, spiritual, poignant, mysterious, contemplative, ethereal, relaxing, transcendent, powerful, primal, soothing, intense, meditative, and sublime.
