Japanese music producer. Born June 27, 1944 in Sakata, Yamagata prefecture. Worked in senior positions with King Records, Nippon Phonogram, Tokuma Japan, Mercury Music Entertainment, etc.. He is particularly associated with folk and new music, and in the establishment of the labels Bellwood Records and Japan Record.
