Forma Tadre is a German electronic music project from Andreas Meyer. Meyer entered the industrial scene in the mid 90s with Navigator, produced by DAF manager Bob Giddens. He also formed the techno/IDM project, Newt, with Daniel Myer of Haujobb. But his real love was ambient music, which would become the focus on his later releases and the sound he is focusing on today.

The name Forma Tadre derives from the album FORce MAjeure by TAngerine DREam, one of Andreas Meyer's favorite albums.
