Born in Tacoma in 1919, daughter of Dr. Edwin O. Ericson and Clara Hammer Ericson, and known throughout the world as a virtuoso on the viola.

Played with classical masters such as Stravinsky and Bernstein; on major motion pictures such as Dr. Zhivago, Around The World in 80 Days, and all the Alfred Hitchcock movies; and on the road with Frank Sinatra and Nelson Riddle in the 1950's.

She later lived in Honolulu, HI and passed on October 26th 2005 at Good Samaritan in Puyallup, Washington.
