A gifted artist and producer, James is best known as the mastermind behind the group Fertile Ground. A skillful keyboard and brass player, James has recorded/produced recordings that will define an era of music. As the primary composer and leader of the group Fertile Ground, James has created a sound that echoes through the jazz, soul and R&B genres.

Also an advocate of independent labels, James has been successfully running his indie soul hit label Blackout Studios for more then 10 years (and he is still just 32 years old!!)

Currently James resides in Baltimore.
