Swedish jazz vocalist and trombonist from Boden, born April 16, 1968.

She is one half of the trombonist duo Sliding Hammers, where together with her sister Karin Hammar, she likes to play music from the trombonist duo J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding's repertoire.

Mimmi Hammar has also often been engaged as trombonist soloist in various jazz contexts with various big bands, for example Con Brio Big Band and Luleå Big Band, and has also played in Leif Kronlund's big band. She has also performed as a guest in Stockholm's Läns Blåsarsymfoniker and performed with Björn Skifs, Roger Pontare, Nils Landgren and Toots Thielemans, among others.

Mimmi Hammar is the mother of Molly Pettersson Hammar and Moa Pettersson Hammar.
