American music journalist and rock critic whose reviews have appeared in every major music publication, including Rolling Stone, Creem, Rock, Fusion, Guitar World, Crawdaddy! and Phonograph Record, while also doing stints as the editor of Music Connection, Cash Box and Hits. Scoppa's career has also included jobs with Mercury Records and A&M Records and he has also served as the Vice President of A&R at Sire Records.
