Swedish baritone vocalist, singing teacher and voice doctor, born 16 October 1933 in Sölvesborg, died on 22 December 1990 in Västerled parish.

In parallel with studies in medicine, he studied singing, including for Dagmar Gustafson in Stockholm and Erik Werba in Vienna.
He made his stage debut in 1962 at Drottningholm's castle theater as Guglielmo in Così fan tutte. He had great success in this role, in the role of Figaro in Giovanni Paisiello's Il Barbiere di Siviglia, as Belcore in The Love Drink by Gaetano Donizetti, in the operas Orlando and Serse by Georg Friedrich Händel and in Il Mondo della Luna by Joseph Haydn. In 1965 he made his debut at the Royal Opera, again as Guglielmo in Così fan tutte. He then continued his career at the Royal Opera, where he was also a voice doctor for other singers. Leandersson also had a successful career came out as a concert and oratorio soloist. He specialized in performing the passions and cantatas of the solo parts Johann Sebastian Bach, and also mastered a wide repertoire of songs. In 1976 he sang the vocal part in Dagdrivaren by Hilding Rosenberg.

Leanderson was also active as a singing teacher. He also worked as a voice doctor (phoniatrics) at Karolinska Hospital. He was an associate professor of phoniatrics.

He was married to Helene Leanderson.
