Saeed Younan and Palash Ahmed met in 1994, the summer before they entered their first semester at Virginia Commonwealth University. Each of them was involved one way or another in Washington’s burgeoning club scene. Both immigrants (Saeed came to America from Iraq when he was 13, Palash from Bangladesh when he was 8), the two shared a common vision of music they wanted to produce. They started their career together as Saeed & Palash by DJing in local Washington clubs.
