Rodrigo Phavanello was born on 14 December 1976 in Campinas (Sao Paulo, Brazil). Between 1997 and 2001, he was a member of the Brazilian music group Dominó, participating in two albums the group: Comvido! (1997) and Give Me Love (2000). From 2005 he began acting in television soap operas in Brazil: Alma Gêmea (2005-2006), O Profeta (2006-2007) and Sete Pecados (2007).
