Dick Maas is a Dutch filmmaker who had international success with 'the Lift', a low budget thriller about an elevator on the loose. Later followed Dutch and Belgian success with 'Amsterdamned' (killer/scuba diver in the Amsterdam canals) and 'Flodder' (scum family in an elite neighboorhood).
In the same tradition as John Carpenter, Dick Maas composes the soundtracks to his own movies.
