Founded and created Catch A Rising Star comedy club and forum that launched the careers of many of America's most popular comedians, writers, television and film stars. In addition he has executive-produced and produced over thirty television productions. Established Rising Star Enterprises and its subsidiary Rising Star Video Productions, Ltd. in 1980 with Richard Fields. He has been co-chairman of the Entertainment Committee of the New York Friars Club.
Also has spent a great deal of time in the music industry as personal manager of five-time Grammy winning Pat Benatar and has also managed Grammy Award winning artist Rodney Crowell, sometimes under the New Star Enterprises entity.
