Ken Kurson played bass in the Chicago-based
Green between 1987 and 1989. After leaving Green, he formed The Lilacs, singing and playing guitar for the group, recording and releasing one full-length album in 1992. Kurson founded of cryptocurrency site
ModernConcensus.com, and sits on the board of directors of
Ripple. Previously, he served as editor in chief of the
New York Observer from 2013 until 2017. During his tenure there,
Algemeiner magazine named Kurson its 2014
Journalist of the Year and in 2016, Kurson earned the
