DeepChord is a dub techno/ambient techno project from Detroit, Michigan, US. Formed in 1997 as a duo of Rod Modell and Mike Schommer.
In 2002 Mike Schommer left, and DeepChord became a solo project of Rod Modell.

The sounds at work are predominantly those associated with dub-techno: dubby beats, crisp static, synthetic analogue grooves, and deep chords.
