Marlon Hannah aka Buddy Roe from Miami. Some know him from being all over Trick Daddy’s debut album “Based on a True Story” in 1997. Being most notable on the songs “Ho But You Cant Help It” and “Bouta Lot Thangs” which was popular in Miami. Buddy signed with Slip-N-Slide records but had to end the process of creating his 1st album due to being jailed with cocaine trafficking charges which landed him 21 years.

Ted Lucas the CEO of Slip N Slide Records had big plans for Buddy and Trick Daddy and wanted to form a group called “38 Boys”. As Trick Daddy was leading the charge, Buddy Roe was in position to be on the rise right along with him but due to his charges plans was set back. Buddy Roe wasn’t forgotten as Trick Daddy would constantly keep his name alive like he did in the beginning of his hit “Im A Thug” shouting out and dedicating the song to him. He served all his time in the feds, today he is doing well as a free man and has reunited with Trick Daddy since his release in 2018
