Alexander Andreev - Russian jazz vocalist. Born in Kaluga, in a family of musicians. After graduating from music school, he entered the classical vocal department of the Kaluga Taneyev Music College. In parallel with this, he attended the Kaluga jazz improvisation studio. Studied jazz harmony and improvisation. During his studies, he mastered several musical instruments (saxophone, trombone, trumpet). After receiving his education, he worked in Kaluga groups, ensembles, orchestras. Realizing that jazz was his calling, he decided to continue his education in Moscow. Having moved in 1997, he entered the third year of the Gnessin Music College, in the pop-jazz vocal department. In 1997, having passed the most difficult selection among the best vocalists of Moscow, Alexander joined the State Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Oleg Lundstrem, and at the same time became a member of the popular vocal jazz quartet Moscow-Transit. During his six years of work in the orchestra, Alexander Andreev visited many cities in Russia and neighboring countries, and took part in many jazz festivals. He worked with many jazz luminaries, musicians and ensembles of Russia. He performed at the best venues in Moscow (Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, State Central Concert Hall Russia, the Kremlin Palace of Congresses and the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory). As part of Oleg Lundstrem's orchestra, vocalist Alexander Andreev took part in a festive concert dedicated to the arrival of US President B. Clinton. In March 2002, Alexander Andreev created his own jazz band, which included Russian jazz musicians of a new formation, possessing a modern, jazz, musical thinking. The jazz band successfully combined several jazz styles.
On June 12, 2003, Alexander became a participant in the concert Young Voices of Russia, dedicated to the Independence Day of Russia and held on Red Square in Moscow.
In 2005, he participated in a jazz festival in Petrozavodsk, in the WEISSE-JAZZ festival in Saransk with the trio of Alexey Podymkin.
In 2006, the jazz band of Alexander Andreev performed with the famous musician and guitarist Alexander Vinnitsky at the MIR GUITARY festival in Kaluga.
Participated in solo concerts with Y. Antonov, T. Gverdtsiteli, L. Gurchenko, O. Gazmanov, S. Pavliashvili, VIA Dobry Molodtsy, VIA Nadezhda. He took part in the anniversary concerts of VIA Samotsvety and Yuri Malikov. With the group Nadezhda, as a vocalist, he was invited to the anniversary concert of the composer and singer Vyacheslav Dobrynin.
