Jan Lepair, 12 august 1940 (Rotterdam) - 7 september 2012 (Alkmaar), was a dutch Art Director and Graphic Designer based in Amsterdam. In the early 90's, at the age of 50, he retired and moved to France.
He started out in the 60's designing dozens of book covers for Meulenhof Educatief and Records covers for Dutch record labels Philips and Phonogram.
In the 80's he designed the house style of Honeywell Bull, Golden Tulip Hotels, Dag Markt, Autopon, Lease Concept, Meulenhoff Educatief, GWK bank, Slinger Print, GTI Installatie Techniek and the Postbank lion.
He has won the Merit Award Art Directors Club New York in 1994 (2nd prize in 1988), his work is mentioned in the Grapic Design Annual from 1975 to 1995.
