Power pop / new wave band from Springfield, Missouri, which performed and recorded primarily from 1974 - 1984. The guys in the band began playing together in 1969 as the Bubble, with vocalist Jim Wunderle. After Bubble they evolved into Hangdog, then, in 1974, Fools Face. Fools Face, along with the band The Misstakes would help define what Billboard magazine dubbed The Springfield Sound in the early 1980's. In 1984, the group would leave Springfield for Las Angeles, which was the beginning of the end, breaking up the same year. The group would reform for the occasional hometown reunion show and to record an album in 2002 and one live album in 2005.
