Chamber orchestra based in London, founded as The Boyd Neel London String Orchestra by Boyd Neel in 1932, renamed in 1933 as this.
After Neel’s departure to Canada in 1954 to found the The Hart House Orchestra , the Boyd Neel Orchestra was renamed as Philomusica Of London and continues today under that name.
Also credited as The Boyd Neel String Orchestra and The Boyd Neel Chamber Orchestra
